COVID Leave for New Employees

Governor Polis recently signed into law the "Healthy Families and Workplaces Act" in Colorado.  The Act provides paid leave for all employee's who tested positive, have symptoms, or have been quarantined for COVID 19.


Employees are eligible for up to two weeks of leave to cover the self-quarantine period after all accumulated excused leave and vacation are used.

Compensation While on Leave

Employees are eligible for up to 8 business days of leave (during the quarantine period) that are paid at 100% of an employee's normal salary, after all accumulated excused leave and vacation are used

Once leave is exhausted, employee leave will transition to unpaid.
